Pennant Hills Medical Centre offers this special service to their patients on the second Saturday morning of each month.
Many people are unaware that they may have this condition. The symptoms of Sleep Apnoea include snoring, easily falling asleep whilst in front of the TV or reading a book, with some patients complaining they awake in the morning feeling unrefreshed. Other patients say they just generally feel tired during the day.
The good news is that Sleep Apnoea is treatable. A simple test can help determine if you have Sleep Apnoea.
Your test results will be reviewed by a specialist Sleep Physician and your Doctor will receive a complete written report. This service is completely covered by Medicare.
If you feel as though you would benefit from this service, please discuss a referral with your Doctor at your next visit. Our reception will be able to then book and appointment for you to participate in this test.
